Benjamin Griffith

Benjamin Griffith’s legal career has been diverse to say the least, with experience spanning corporate transactions, complex litigation, public policy research, and French-language matters. 

Early in his career, Benjamin worked at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and Paris in general practice and litigation, including corporate matters involving commodities, futures, derivatives, bankruptcy, antitrust litigation and M&A. He later served as a session analyst for the Texas House of Representatives House Research Organization and as an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP in Houston, where he focused on SPACs, M&A, and venture capital while maintaining an extensive pro bono practice in asylum and immigration. Most recently, he has served as a discovery specialist at a boutique litigation firm in Austin, TX.

Benjamin earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a quarterfinalist in the 1L Hutcheson Moot Court Competition and a member of the Texas Business Law Society. He also holds an M.A. in history and theology from Abilene Christian University and a B.A. in philosophy from Freed-Hardeman University. He is admitted to practice in New York, has passed the Texas bar exam with his application pending, and holds an ALTA French Reading certification (10/ILR 3+).

Outside the practice of law, Benjamin is a thoughtful and curious person whose interests include French language and culture, history, philosophy, theology, Hindustani classical music, and playing basketball. A drummer and music producer, he brings creativity and a genuine people-focused approach to his work and his relationships with clients and colleagues.
