Ramon Rodriguez

Ramon is proud to be the first lawyer in his family—and the first to attend college. The son of hardworking immigrant parents, born and raised in El Paso, Texas, he is a native Texan. He watched his parents work incredibly hard to give him the little opportunity they could, and he brings that same work ethic to every client he represents.

His path wasn’t a straight line. Early in his time at the University of Colorado, Ramon was placed on academic suspension. He fought his way back into the administration’s good graces, worked as many as three jobs at a time, and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics. That comeback, coupled with a Mensa qualifying LAST score, carried him to the University of Texas School of Law.

Ramon arrived at UT Law with a singular focus: to become an immigration lawyer. But it was during that work—representing clients through the school’s Immigration Clinic and his summer internships—that he made a discovery that changed his course. What he loved most wasn’t a particular area of law; it was standing up for people in a courtroom. He tried his first case while still in law school, and he knew then that the courtroom was where he belonged.

After graduation, Ramon joined a litigation boutique in San Antonio, where he worked alongside some of the best legal minds in Texas, including former Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court Wallace Jefferson and former Chief Justice of the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals Catherine Stone. He learned everything he could in those early years, but the cases he worked didn’t satisfy his desire to help the people he grew up around. In 2015, he set out on his own.

Over the next decade, Ramon handled cases spanning nearly the full legal gamut—from antitrust to trademark infringement. His work has made both local and national news, involving high-profile entertainment matters and marginalized members of the community alike. No matter was too big, and what he didn’t know, he learned. During that time, he tried over two dozen cases to judges and juries and learned something from each experience.

He is a pugilist by nature with a voracious desire to help. When he discovered first-party insurance litigation, he knew he had found his arena. He loves fighting for his clients and the compensation they deserve—and he is ready to be your champion.
